Frankly, I am just glad to be equally announcing the fantastic news about this year’s winners, Mr. and Miss World Kenya. So, you can imagine my delight at having the opportunity to share this particular crowning achievement as a style blogger with a keen interest in fashion as well as beauty pageants.

Two Rivers Mall in Nairobi sparkled with elegance and talent as Grace Ramtu and Teddy Rossiter took center stage.

This year, the pageant celebrated its 50th anniversary with the theme "A Crown of Impact," emphasizing the contestants' contributions to charitable organizations and communities. This theme resonates deeply with me, as fashion is not just about looking good but also about making a difference.

The event was a spectacular display of fashion, talent, and grace. The performances were breathtaking, showcasing the contestants' unique abilities and personalities. The judges had a tough job, but Grace and Teddy truly stood out.

Oh, and did I mention that she wore an absolutely stunning evening gown of emerald green silk that flowed like a waterfall and had intricate beading that looked like one of my favorite runway looks that I have come across? This beauty queen is not only stunning; she is also so lovely-hearted. Her cause is to help young girls go to school and build the confidence that they need. I am so proud of a queen who is not only taking the fashion industry by storm but is also impacting lives.

Now, it is time to meet a stylish man, Teddy Rossiter, who will become Mr. World Kenya 2024! By the end of the show, Teddy was unstoppable; the judges were eating from the palm of his hand as he entertained them with his sense of humor and that famous smile of his. In the formal wear competition, he was very sharp in a tux from Zara, and the pocket square was just on point. When asked the question in the interview part, he demonstrated his interest in being an example and encouraging diversity. It has been made so obvious that Ted is indeed the man of the house with the prettiest face and the biggest heart for that title!

With such a fabulous and glamorous setting, energetic dance moves, and mind-blowing talent that graced the floor of the event, the competition was undeniably one for the style encyclopedia. When Grace and Ted were chosen to be king and queen of the catwalk, one could actually feel the pride and excitement both displayed.
